Holidays

Well it's that time of year again when we all hopefully fly off on our holidays, where are you all planning on going this year. The lovely Tony and I are off the sunny Florida for the 9th time to celebrate my 40th Birthday (yes I know I don't look that old and thanks :)) on 17th September for 3 weeks. I think the thing that I am looking forward to most is having a villa all to ourselves, being able to relax by the pool without anyone splashing me.
Next on that looking forward to list is all the lovely stash shops over there Michaels, Joanns, Mouse Memories, Scrappy Boutique etc. I think this year I am going to buy loads of cricut carts, primas, copics and ribbon. Probably need a new suitcase for all those crafty bargains. What would be on your must buy list?

Wedding Card

This is the card that I have made for Michelle and Alastairs big day in 2 weeks time.
Materials used: Cosmo Cricket paper, grungeboard wings coated in glossy accents and covered in glitter, prima's got flowers and my favourite thickers.
Hi fellow bloggers, well here I return yet again. I have so realised I do not have the time for this blogging nonsense lol. I have a full time and part time job, there is not enough hours in the day. Plus for the last 5 months I have been beavering away at wedding invitations for a very large wedding that is happening on 22nd July. I will be so glad once they are finished, I am seeing thistles in my sleep lol. Anyways, hopefully once they are all finished I will have time to update this way more often than twice a year!!

I hate doing cards for boys!!

I have had this woodware stamp practically since I started getting into stamping but very rarely use it and I don't know why, it's such a lovely image and good for decoupaging. Its coloured with promarkers, my favourite colouring medium with some american crafts ribbon and card candy. Sorry folks but can't remember what the paper is called as it was just bits and pieces that I used from my scrap box.

Visitors and Crafting!!

Thought it was about time I updated this, I am so bad at blogging, its no wonder I have no followers lol.

I have just had my first Christmas Day of the year, WHAT I hear you say!! Well we have friends come over from Ireland (or us to them) every year and because we don't see them at Christmas we have our very own Christmas Day. Tony got an xbox game and Iron Man 2 on Blu Ray and I got 2 fantastic charms for my Pandora bracelet, I love them so much. My bracelet still looks a little lonely though with only 5 charms on it but I am hoping that Santa will bring me some more :). Anyways, I have been dying to get into my craft room this week but visitors and card making just don't mix, especially when there is a 2 year old running around! They went away this morning so the first thing I did was hop right in there.
The card, is made with a flower soft topper with some red fine FS on her coat and white FS for the snow. I made the bow at the top with lengths of ribbon just fixed in the middle with a Anna Griffin embellishment.

Christmas Cards

Well I started my Christmas cards tonight but my camera is playing up so pictures as yet. I am thinking my colour theme this year is going to be blue and silver. Do you guys theme your cards or do you just go with the flow? I got a couple of Christmas cartridges for the cricut last year but this is the first chance I have had to use them, quite liking a lot of elements in there, especially the snowflakes.

So what is on your Christmas list this year? I would really love the Rock Princess cartridge, love a lot of the elements on there and they are really versatile.

Sugar Nellie Love Birds

Totally love this stamp, its from Sugar Nellie, one of my favourites. I made this card for the Cardmaking and Papercrafts cardmaker of the year competition. Can't wait for the results to come through, I entered a fair few but the competition is so high, there are so many talented crafters out there but as they say if you don't enter you can't win! As well as the Sugar Nellie stamp which is coloured with promarkers, I have used Thickers, grungeboard circle which I have ink dusted with distress inks and Bo Bunny paper.
