Christmas Cards

Well I started my Christmas cards tonight but my camera is playing up so pictures as yet. I am thinking my colour theme this year is going to be blue and silver. Do you guys theme your cards or do you just go with the flow? I got a couple of Christmas cartridges for the cricut last year but this is the first chance I have had to use them, quite liking a lot of elements in there, especially the snowflakes.

So what is on your Christmas list this year? I would really love the Rock Princess cartridge, love a lot of the elements on there and they are really versatile.

Sugar Nellie Love Birds

Totally love this stamp, its from Sugar Nellie, one of my favourites. I made this card for the Cardmaking and Papercrafts cardmaker of the year competition. Can't wait for the results to come through, I entered a fair few but the competition is so high, there are so many talented crafters out there but as they say if you don't enter you can't win! As well as the Sugar Nellie stamp which is coloured with promarkers, I have used Thickers, grungeboard circle which I have ink dusted with distress inks and Bo Bunny paper.

Happily Ever After

Another special occasion book-ring card made for a friends daughters 1st Wedding Anniversary. They love Disney so I used this Cinderella Jolee and letter cut with Opposites Attract again. The Happily Ever After sign I bought whilst in Florida a couple of years ago, I knew it would come in handy some day :)

21st Birthday Card

This was a book-ring card that I made for a friends daughter. She is a musician so I thought I would stick with that. Guitar is a jolees sticker along with the music notes and embossing done with the happy birthday cuttlebug folder. The letters are from the Opposites Attract cartridge with the cricut and then some ribbons tied around the book-rings. I think it is very effective and different from your every day flat cards.

The Princess and the Frog

Okay my photographics skills aren't very good, lets hope my cardmaking is better. I totally love this stamp, coloured with distress inks and flowers from prima. Don't you just prima, I probably have enough flowers to last me a lifetime but it doesn't stop me buying more.

Bad Bad Blogger

Okay apologies to everyone that is following me (a total of 2 people lol), I started this with good intentions and it didn't last long. Working a full time and part time job is not easy but anyways its no excuse. A very good friend of mine gave me a boot up the backside and said update your blog, so here I am and I hope you stick with me this time.
