Weekend

Well this weekend I have my crafting group to go to, I always really look forward to it, we have a good laugh and its good to see other peoples ideas. Hopefully tomorrow night I will have another few cards for you to look at. Mind you if it is anything like last months I spend most of the time chatting and only got one card done. Note to self, no procrastinating!!!

Goth Card

A friend in work asked me to make her a birthday card for her daughter who is turning 11. She has started getting into the whole Goth scene and I was asked to do a card to reflect this, well I was panicking a bit at first as I have never been asked to do a card like this before but I think it turned out very well, hope you like it. Please feel free to leave truthful comments.

It is an 8x8 card, courtesy of craftwork cards and an image I found through Google images which I just printed out 3 times and built the picture up. This is mounted onto some pirate/princess paper (sorry can't remember the make) and then at the side I have just put some glitter paper (think it is called Star Gem) and wrapped bacl and pink spotted ribbon around.

Welcome to my New Blog

Hi crafting buddies, thought I would give this blog thing a try out after seeing a lot of your inspirational blogs out there. Hope I remember to keep it updated regularly lol. If not just give me nudge to see what I am up to.

At the moment I am off work long term sick leave which means I get a lot of crafting time in, keep telling Tony he needs to earn more so that I can give up work but he just doesn't listen!!! I think I have made enough Christmas cards to last me the next 3 years.....
